EDUCATION
Hui-Tzu Yang is a National Board Certified, New Jersey, and New York licensed acupuncturist. Her background includes five years of medical training in the Medical College of Xiamen University in China majoring in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. The program consists of four-year intensive training and one-year in-hospital rotation in major medical departments including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and gynecology, Neurology, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Internal medicine, Acupuncture, Chinese herbs and dietary therapy, etc. The program’s U.S. Equivalency is: Five years of post-secondary professional study. Remarks: Traditional Chinese Medicine is a recognized system of medical practice in China. The holder of the Bachelor of Medicine is entitled to practice.
She furthered her studies at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine earning a Master of Science in Acupuncture. With a passion for medical knowledge, she continues to update and add to her skill set by studying the latest developments in the fields.
EXPERIENCE
After seven years of medical training, Dr. Yang started her independent practice since 2012 in various medical centers in New York and New Jersey including Long Island, Manhattan, Passaic, Wayne, and Ocean. In 2017, Dr. Yang founded GoodPoint Medicine in West Orange and Manhattan New York.
PHILOSOPHY
She strongly supports the successful fusion of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern medicine to achieve the greatest possible health benefits for men, women, and children. She is caring, passionate, and proficient. Her goal is to use her medical knowledge to promote patients’ well-being and quality of life.
Yimin Tian, L.Ac., M.D. (China), M.S. Physiology
Ms. Yimin Tian has been an NCCAOM and New Jersey Acupuncture Examining Board licensed acupuncturist since 2018. In 1991, she received her M.D. in China and actively practiced medicine as a radiologist for six years.
After relocating to the United States, she received an M.S. in Physiology at UIUC. Subsequently, she has worked extensively in the field of cardiovascular research for over 20 years. Her medicine-oriented background, coupled with her wealth of experience in
physiological research, has helped her develop a deep understanding of the human body, its issues, and remedies.
Despite her contributions both as a radiologist and researcher, she has always carried a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine. In pursuit of this lifelong passion, she took a leap of faith when she decided to start studying acupuncture 10 years ago. Since then, she has embarked on a journey to use her knowledge and talents to heal patients of all backgrounds.
